Contemporary Art And Its Place In Modern Times
Most famous artists have proven that the old adage about art being a way to immortality is true. So many books and documentaries have been dedicated to the artists who pioneered what we now know as art. Because art can be relative, contemporary art has often become the subject of debate and critical acclaim. But there is a way to distinguish contemporary art, and that is the time line for the creation of the piece. Artists who understood the significance of the movement seized the opportunity to revolutionize artistic creation and become a pioneer of “modern” art.
American Abstraction
Abstract expression gained ground after the war era. One can call abstraction as a movement that artists at that time came up with. The evolution of art has opened up doors for talented people who can really stick to their craft, but this kind of change has made the art community more picky about the artists it supports. Usually, the critics would either rave or nitpick about the technique used, as well as the materials.
